After being diagnosed with a malignant melanoma at age 33, my life took on a new purpose. As a mother with two small children it was nearly impossible to stay out of the sun completely.
So, I set out to find products that make it safer to enjoy the outdoors yet still be protected from the suns harmful rays. My goal in starting The Shady Lady is to educate people about skin cancer and the dangers of the sun and also provide the best products on the market to make outdoor living a little easier.
